Valentine's Day, anniversaries and romantic occasions account for nearly all of it. Red also works for a milestone — a promotion, an opening night — where you want something that reads as significant rather than casual.

Questions people ask

How many red roses should I send?

A dozen is the standard romantic gesture. Twenty-four or more reads as a milestone. Fewer than six reads as a gesture rather than a statement — none of these are wrong, they just say different things.

Do you deliver red roses on Valentine's Day?

Yes, and it is our busiest day of the year. Order several days ahead if you want a specific arrangement or a specific delivery window.

How long will red roses last?

Seven to ten days in a clean vase with fresh water, kept out of direct sun and away from ripening fruit.

How late can I order for today?

1 PM. After that the order moves to the next morning.
