Tulips, delivered the same day in Los Angeles

Tulips are a spring flower and we treat them as one — this collection is at its fullest between January and May and thins out afterwards. They are the most alive thing we sell: tulips keep growing in the vase and move toward the light, so the arrangement you receive is not quite the arrangement you have three days later.

What is in this collection

Tulip-led designs in single colours and mixed, usually presented simply because tulips do not need help. For other single-variety designs see the mono bouquets; for spring arrangements more broadly see pink and white.

Looking after tulips

Use cold water, not warm, and only fill the vase a third of the way — tulips rot if the stems sit too deep. Keep them away from fruit, which releases ethylene and ages them fast. Expect five to seven days, and expect them to lean toward the window.

Questions people ask

Why are my tulips drooping?

Usually normal — tulips bend and keep growing after cutting. If they collapse entirely, re-cut the stems and use cold water filled only a third of the way up.

Are tulips available all year?

No. They are a spring flower and the collection is largest from January to May.

How long do tulips last?

Five to seven days in cold water, away from fruit and direct sun.

How late can I order for today?

1 PM. After that the order moves to the next morning.
