Reviews

We are a young studio and we would rather be judged on how we handle the difficult deliveries than on the easy ones. This page is about what we promise, what we get wrong, and what we do when we get it wrong.

What people tell us matters

Across the feedback we get, the same three things come up more than anything else, and none of them are about how the bouquet looked in a photograph.

  • It arrived when we said it would. Flowers are almost always tied to a moment — a dinner, a birthday, a hospital visit. Late is the same as wrong.
  • It looked like the picture. Same size, same palette, same style. We substitute like for like when a stem is not good enough that morning; we do not quietly downgrade.
  • Someone answered the phone. One number, +1 (657) 427-7770, from 6 AM every day.

Where our reviews are

Our ratings sit on the Google listings for our three studios — Santa Monica, Marina del Rey and Westwood. We do not host testimonials on this site, because a testimonial we control and publish ourselves is worth very little to you.

If something goes wrong

Call us. Not email, not a form — call, because most delivery problems can still be fixed on the day if we hear about them in time.

  • It did not arrive. We will tell you exactly where the driver went and when. If we got it wrong, we redeliver at our cost.
  • It arrived damaged or wilted. Send us a photograph and we will replace it. Flowers are a perishable product and occasionally a stem fails; that is our problem, not yours.
  • The address was wrong. If the address given to us was incorrect, a second attempt carries a $15 redelivery fee. We will always try to reach you first.
  • You changed your mind. Call before the bouquet is built and we will change or cancel it. Once it is made we cannot un-make it.

How to leave a review

Search for Paradise Florist alongside the studio nearest you and leave it on the Google listing. If it is critical, we would rather you called us first — not to talk you out of it, but because a review is a poor way to get a problem solved, and we would like the chance to solve it.

What we do not do

We do not do weddings or event contracts, and we are honest about why — see why we do not do weddings. We are a same-day delivery studio, and doing one thing properly is the whole business.

Questions people ask

What happens if my flowers arrive damaged?

Send us a photograph and call +1 (657) 427-7770. We replace it.

What if nobody is home?

We leave it in a safe, shaded spot and notify you, unless you have told us otherwise. If the building requires a signature, we hand it to the front desk and note who took it.

Do you charge for a failed delivery?

Only when the address given to us was wrong — $15 for a second attempt. If the mistake is ours, we redeliver at our cost.

How do I contact you?
