Sending Flowers to an Office in Los Angeles: How to Make Sure They Arrive

by Paradise Florist on Aug 21, 2026
Desk-sized bouquet for an office delivery in Los Angeles

Office deliveries are our second most common type after homes, and they fail more often. Not because offices are hard to find — because of three details people leave out of the order.

The three things that decide it

1. The suite number. A company name alone is not a delivery address. The towers along Wilshire, the campus buildings in Playa Vista and the offices around Ivy Station in Culver City all have shared lobbies with a dozen tenants. A driver holding a bouquet for “Acme Corp” at a desk that serves fourteen companies is stuck.

2. Whether reception closes early. Our route runs until 8 PM. Plenty of Los Angeles office receptions close at 4 or 5. A bouquet arriving at 6 sits at a locked desk overnight, and by morning it has spent fourteen hours without water in an air-conditioned lobby. If the desk closes early, tell us and we will schedule the delivery earlier in the run.

3. Whether the person is actually in. Hybrid working broke office flower delivery more than anything else in the last decade. Add a mobile number for the recipient and we will confirm before the driver leaves, rather than delivering a surprise to an empty desk on their work-from-home day.

Building types and what each one needs

Office towers — Century City, Wilshire, downtown Santa Monica

Staffed lobbies that will accept deliveries and route them internally. Give the suite number and the recipient’s full name. Some buildings log deliveries and email the recipient automatically; some do not, which is why a mobile number still helps.

Campus offices — Playa Vista, Culver City studio lots

These have real security. A studio lot will not let a driver through the gate without a named recipient and a department or production. Most hold the delivery at the main gate and call the recipient down — which only works if we have a number to give them.

Creative offices — Venice, Abbot Kinney, the Rose Avenue corridor

Small studios and agencies, often behind an unmarked door shared with two other businesses. Add a contact name and a phone number, and tell us if there is a buzzer. See our Venice delivery guide.

Medical suites — San Vicente, Wilshire, Westwood

These accept flowers at reception without fuss. Add the suite number and the recipient’s full name. If you are sending to a patient rather than to staff, read our hospital delivery guide instead — the rules are different.

What to send to an office

The best office arrangement is one that needs nothing from the recipient. That rules out a wrapped bouquet, which needs a vase the office does not have, and which ends up in the kitchen sink until someone deals with it.

  • Baskets arrive arranged in their own container. Put it on the desk and it is done.
  • Mono bouquets in a vase added at checkout — clean, compact and they suit a desk better than a wide mixed arrangement.
  • Sunflowers if the office is heavily air-conditioned. They tolerate dry air better than almost anything.

Keep the scent low. An arrangement that is glorious in a hallway can be overwhelming in an open-plan room, and strongly perfumed lilies are the ones most likely to be quietly moved to a corridor.

Timing

Order before 1 PM for same-day delivery. Mid-morning to early afternoon is the sweet spot for offices — the recipient is at their desk, colleagues are around to see it, and reception is definitely open. Timed delivery from $30 if it needs to land during a specific meeting or lunch.

Not sure about a particular building? Call +1 (657) 427-7770 before you order and we will tell you what that address needs. Coverage: West LA · Culver City · Westwood · all areas.
