How Much Does Flower Delivery Cost in Los Angeles?

by Paradise Florist on Aug 21, 2026
Pink garden rose bouquet — what flower delivery costs in Los Angeles

Short answer: most of our orders land between $150 and $200, delivery included across most of the Westside. But the honest answer needs a bit more detail, because “how much do flowers cost” depends almost entirely on which flowers.

What the price bands actually buy you

Band What you get
Under $100 Typically 10–24 stems. A real bouquet, hand-made to order — just fewer stems of the same flowers we use everywhere else.
$100–$150 24–48 stems, or a premium variety at a smaller count. The range most of our orders sit in.
$150–$200 40–50 stems, garden roses and ranunculus in generous counts. The point at which a bouquet fills a room rather than a corner.
Over $250 Large-format: 50, 75 or 100 stems, and the 200-stem baskets.

Why the same-looking bouquet costs different amounts

Three things move the price, and none of them is margin.

Stem count. The obvious one. Twenty-four roses cost roughly twice what twelve cost, because that is twice the flowers.

Variety. A standard rose and a garden rose look related but are not. Garden roses have many more petals, carry scent, and cost two to three times as much at wholesale. Peonies cost more again, and their price swings by a factor of three between peak season and out of season.

Season. This is the one people underestimate. Peonies in May and peonies in November are the same flower at wildly different prices, because in November they have flown from another hemisphere. Red roses in the first week of February cost more than red roses in the third week, for the same reason everything costs more when everyone wants it at once.

What delivery costs

Most local deliveries across our core Westside areas are included in the price. Further out, a fee may apply and you will see it at checkout before you pay — never afterwards.

Two optional costs worth knowing about:

  • Timed delivery from $30. If the flowers must land inside a specific window — a restaurant booking, the end of a meeting, a funeral service — we schedule it rather than leaving it somewhere in the 11 AM to 8 PM run.
  • $15 redelivery fee. Only applies if a delivery attempt fails because the address was wrong or incomplete. It covers the second trip. Check the address at checkout and you will never see it.

What is included that you are not paying extra for

Every order, at every price: a water-filled aqua pack so the flowers drink in transit, a protective transport box, flower care instructions, flower food, and a printed gift note from you in a branded envelope. A vase is not included — add one at checkout and it travels on the same delivery.

How to get more flower for your money

  • Buy in season. Ask what is good this week rather than deciding on a variety first. Seasonal stems are cheaper and better at the same time.
  • Go mono. A single-variety bouquet has no filler greenery padding out the count. More flower per dollar, and it looks more deliberate.
  • Pick a bulky flower. Hydrangeas fill a vase with five stems. Sunflowers do the same and last longer than almost anything else we send.
  • Avoid the two peak days. Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day are the two dates when global demand sets the price. Sending flowers on the 12th instead of the 14th costs less and arrives calmer.

Is same-day more expensive?

No. Same-day delivery costs the same as scheduled delivery — the only thing that changes is the 1 PM cut-off. Order before then and it goes out today at the same price.
